Four Bed Family Homes Released Early Due To Demand

Four-bedroom family homes at Herons Field in Sittingbourne, Kent, are to be released for sale early due to popular demand, with a launch on Saturday, October 21st.

Nearly 150 homes have now been constructed at the flagship development from Westerhill Homes and Hyde New Homes, with 117 of those in occupation or sold.

The development, which sits alongside community playing fields, was made home by its first residents in July 2016. The community began to take root as new amenities are added, including the Lakeview Village Hall, unveiled earlier this year.   The Heron Fields community will comprise 327 homes when the development is completed, expected to be around summer 2019.

Current Heron Fields residents, Adam Phillips, an electrician, purchased one of the three-bedroom houses last year, moving in with his partner Samantha and their two young children.

Adam Phillips said: “We are so impressed with everything at Heron Fields. Having the chance to live and work in such a superb location and within the perfect home to raise our family – we just had to sign up there and then. We are so lucky to have the playing field close by as well. It will be perfect for my son and I to have a kick-around in when he is a little older.”
Set on the fringes of open countryside, Heron Fields is a development of 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed terraced, semi-detached and detached homes with landscaped gardens at Great Easthall.  Kings Cross St Pancras is accessible within an hour direct from Sittingbourne station, just 2.5 miles from Heron Fields.

Properties at Heron Fields, constructed by Westerhill Homes’ sister company, the Chartway Group, have all been designed to create a distinctive identity for the neighbourhood, with a total of seven individual house styles, blending traditional Kentish architecture with red brick and white timber cladding.

Each property has been designed to maximise space, with light and airy designs and built-in wardrobes to the master bedroom.   The four bed homes all come with turfed gardens, timber sheds, rotary dryers and home composter bins, included as standard.

Each home is finished to a high specification, with individually-designed kitchens from Paula Rosa, including integrated Indesit appliances, with buyers given the option to personalise floor and wall tiles, carpets, plus chose from a range of kitchen units.

There are a number of well-established schools nearby, such as Murton Infants, alongside Independent and Grammar Schools, with both Borden CoE, Rodmersham Primary School, and Estlands School rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

Heron Fields is positioned on the peaceful suburban outskirt of Sittingbourne, just a short drive from the town centre, which is currently undergoing significant multimillion-pound regeneration.  Many new amenities are planned in the heart of the town, including an extensive leisure quarter with a multiplex cinema, family restaurants, hotel, multi-story car park and retail park. Other aspects of the local area include Chilton Manor Farm, The Avenue Theatre, and Belmont House, all hosting their own array of events and year-round activities.

A selection of four bedroom homes will be launched on Saturday, October 21st, with prices starting at £380,000, plus the government-backed Help to Buy Equity Loan Scheme is available, meaning that these homes can be purchased against a deposit of as little as 5%.
