18 Tonne truck-pull in aid of Air Ambulance Charity KSS.

We are very proud of Rob Nunn our Group Vehicle & Plant Manager who has been training extensively, and successfully achieved a magnificent 18 Tonne HGV truck pull, raising £650 for Air Ambulance Charity KSS.

Rob, representing Westerhill Homes for the event, is a member of Evolution Gym who organised the truck pull and have supported and helped with his training.

Rob said ”‘This was a huge challenge for me to gain enough upper body strength to enable me to pull the truck, it’s also hard on the legs and feet too! I’m so proud to achieved what I set out to do, it’s obviously a personal achievement, but I was really spurred on by the knowledge that the funds I was raising for Aim Ambulance Charity KSS will really make an impact of the life-saving services the Air Ambulance provides to the people of Kent, Surrey & Sussex. My children, Leo & Aiva were there to encourage me, and lifting them at the end of the truck pull was much easier!”

Julie Clare Head of Corporate Relations said “ Well done Rob for supporting Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex(KSS) in such an intuitive way! What an amazing challenge! The donations received will really make a difference to our life-saving service. Thank you”.
