Diggerland was a brilliant reward

This young man is entranced by his day out at Diggerland.

A young Mum from Maidstone couldn’t believe her luck when she got a telephone call last year from us, telling her she was to receive tickets for her family for a day out at Diggerland.

Tierney Thomas had entered her details onto a rewards app of one of our Elmers, which were part of the Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade last summer. Westerhill Homes was the Presenting Partner for Heart of Kent Hospice who organised the event to raise awareness and funds for the hospice. The event, which culminated in an auction to sell 50 large individually designed Elmer Elephant sculptures raised in excess of £300,000.

Our Westerhill Homes Elmer named “Heard Across The County,’ brightly coloured to match our purple logo, offered the chance of a family day out at Diggerland; Tierney had taken her family on the trail and entered her details.

Tierney says “I entered my details into the app and then forgot all about it until the phone call to say I’d got a day ticket for the family to visit Diggerland. It was a fantastic day out, especially as my son loves diggers; we all really enjoyed it. I really want to say a big thank you to Westerhill Homes’.

Joanne Weeden, Sales & Marketing Director at Westerhill Homes says ‘ We are delighted that Tierney and her family enjoyed their day out, it’s lovely to hear her son enjoys the diggers, perhaps he’s a budding construction worker for the future! It is very important to us to support our local community; the event was an incredible success and we were delighted to have been able to be a part of it’.
