Ashley joined Chartway Group in April 2015 as Group Financial Controller. His role is to oversee the day to day function and management of the accounts department covering all Chartway Group's companies and dealing with numerous external stakeholders such as auditors and bondsmen.
Since qualifying as an ACCA member in February 2000, Ashley has worked for Nokia, Del Monte and Denne Construction and has worked in the construction industry for the past 12 years in senior management roles. He also holds a degree in Geography from UCL.
Steve Johnson has been with Chartway Group since 2013, having spent 20 years working in Health & Safety Management, with regional, national, and international construction companies. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of environments, including new build residential, commercial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, refurbishment and heritage projects.
His responsibilities as Group Health and Safety Manager is to manage group Health & Safety, create H&S policies, audit management systems and incident investigations.
Steve is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health CMIOSH and also holds the following qualifications:
• Post Graduate Certificate (PgC) Occupational Health and Safety Management
• N.E.B.O.S.H. Construction Certificate
• N.E.B.O.S.H. General Certificate
• CSCS Construction Health and Safety Senior Manager
• CPCS Appointed Person
• CISRS Scaffold Inspector
Cathanne joined Chartway Group in September 2015 as Group HR Manager with responsibility for the provision of Human Resources services, managing and guiding the HR function including overseeing processes and policies with support and guidance to Directors, Managers and staff across the Group.
She began her HR career with Ernst & Young in 1990, qualified in 1994 with the CIPD, and gained Chartered Member status with the CIPD in October 2003. Prior to working for Chartway, Cathanne spent 15 years in Human Resources management working within the legal sector both locally in Kent and in London.
