Chartway Construction, part of the leading South East England land-led housebuilder Chartway Partnerships Group, has announced the appointment of Edward Provost-Lines as its new Production Director.
Reporting to Group Operations Director, Gavin Hunt, Edward is responsible for overseeing all construction-related activities on behalf of the Group for Chartway Construction.
In his new role, Edward will be leading on the programme and delivery performance of Chartway Construction’s developments, taking responsibility for health, safety, environmental, quality, and collaboration with the Chartway pre-development team for the delivery strategy of future projects.
Edward brings with him over 15 years of experience in senior management roles and has an impressive track record of delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects across the South East. He is well-versed in management of risk and logistics in challenging environments, having worked on a range of projects across different sectors.
With extensive experience in delivery of new build and high-rise refurbishments, Edward is a driver of zero tolerance health and safety strategies and implementation of environmentally focused construction methodology.

Edward’s most recent role was as Operations Manager at United Living, where he oversaw the largest Housing Association on the longest framework in Europe across the South East. He managed teams of operational and commercial staff to deliver budgets in excess of £40m on a variety of workstreams. Prior to this, he worked as a Contracts Manager at Breyer Group, where he oversaw multiple Contracts/Sites in the South East and West.
