For India our newest Trainee, joining the Westerhill Homes sales team was the perfect match for her skill-set, and her love of meeting and working with customers.

India says “ I really wanted to find a career path where I could see myself progressing. Joining Westerhill Homes as a Trainee Sales Executive has been so rewarding. I have a great trainer who is incredibly supportive and has been willing to share all her knowledge about the job with me. I am now dealing with customers by myself and my confidence and knowledge are increasing. I love being able to talk to customers and am looking forward to doing my first completion when one of my customers moves in to their new home. There is great job satisfaction in this role.

At Chartway Group we are committed to increasing the numbers of women in the construction industry, promoting this in the community and ensuring our female colleagues are treated with respect and equality.
Here’s a few quotes from some of our female workforce:
‘Having been in the industry for a few years, it has been refreshing to join a company where all senior management (regardless of their gender) genuinely treats me as an equal member of the team and not ‘just one of the office girls’.
‘From Day One I was made to feel welcome and a part of the Site Team’.
‘At Chartway Group I have always been treated with respect and feel valued as part of the team, and although the industry is traditionally male dominated, I hope we can encourage more women to join us, as it’s a great sector to work in, with many different roles and every day is exciting.’
