Chartway Group is a Kent-based development and construction group providing services to deliver improved communities and environments.

Chartway Construction provides a complete design and build service for delivering quality homes people want to live in, regardless of the scale or complexity of the project.

Westerhill Homes is a private market brand with a single mission – to deliver quality housing developments in Kent, homes that people are proud to call home.

More than 50 local children from around the Castle Hill area of the new developments at Ebbsfleet Garden City joined an Easter Egg hunt on Friday (April 14th) held in the local park.
Sponsored by Westerhill Homes, part of the Kent-based Chartway Group who are currently building at Ebbsfleet, the Easter Egg hunt was organised and led by Rev Penny Marsh and Shelley Aiyedogbon (of Primabella Parties). Rev Penny Marsh and a group of local Christians have been working with residents in Castle Hill and surrounding areas for just over a year. During that time, the group have organised two Christmas events and several ‘play in the park’ get-togethers during the summer. The group also runs a weekly coffee morning event which is proving a great connecting place for those who have recently moved to the area.
The Christian group are expected to launch a new church in the area this autumn, becoming Ebbsfleet Baptist Church.
Rev Penny Marsh commented: “This is the second year we have run the Easter Egg hunt at Castle Hill and it has proved very popular, helping to bring a new community together. It’s a great way to get local children outside exploring, giving everyone, including mums and dads, the opportunity to meet and develop new friendships, building a sense of community around their new homes.”
